Retrospective Exhibition
Dalles Art Gallery, 9 July - 9 August 2007'A sexy senior citizen', as the americans called him, Marcel Guguianu, at his 85 years, remains always young through his works, a master that has been a long period beside another master, Ion Irimescu. Guguianu polished and refined the metal, being a poet of the curved surfaces that capture the light, a lover of the bronze and marble transparencies. The artist that "sculpts the tenderness" had always the women as an inspiration source. The artist's exhibition reveals a refined taste and pasion for life.
